Bolyai200

Art-Science Fest

On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of János Bolyai's letter sent from Timișoara:
"from nothing I have created a new and another world" (November 3, 1823)

The purpose of the event is to emphasize the need for interdisciplinary thinking by highlighting cultural education and the importance of talent management, in which both the family and educational institutions must play a significant role. So this festival is not a math-physics conference, as there have been and will be many such events, but one that presents the extensive work of the two Bolyai, from horticulture to winemaking, from forestry to oven construction, from literature to music theory, from linguistics to the “science of salvation”. At the same time, it is a great opportunity to commemorate several researchers who dealt with the two Bolyai as well as to mark the way for the continuation of the research work that has begun.
